Even a small scar causes tension in people; imagine getting troubled by Eczema and your whole skin is affected. Eczema is a disorder of the immune system in which due to low immunity, the skin undergoes a lot.

Basically, the skin barrier is weakened, which makes the moisture disappear and germs enter inside the skin. This, results in dry, scaly skin and much more!

The person who has Eczema experiences the symptoms like

  1. Dry skin
  2. Thick, cracked, and scaly skin
  3. Itching, which can be mild to severe

The Causes and Risk Factors of Eczema

  1. Weak immunity becomes the reason as the cells are unable to fight the trigger or allergens which lead to the symptoms.
  2. The skin barrier problem, the barrier becomes weak. This means that the skin is more likely to allow the allergic substances to enter and degrade the skin.
  3. The lifestyle we practice shows on the skin. If the food we eat is not healthy, the skin will reflect it.
  4. Another cause can be if you have been using too much of chemicals on your skin. Repeatedly changing the chemicals and over use of skin products definitely make the skin, weak which can pave the path for Eczema.

Triggers of Eczema

The trigger here stands for excess of something. For some of them, the flare-ups occur in response to a few things like:

  1. Rough fabric may irritate the skin. Try wearing cotton clothes that are loosely fitted.
  2. Weather changes, be it too hot or too cold, it is going to affect the skin.
  3. Animal dander irritates the skin and can result in skin allergies and reactions.

  5. Stress can be the trigger as it worsens the already existing situation.
  6. Cold or Respiratory infections may also result in allergies that may cause eczema to happen.
  7. Soaps, detergents, shampoos, and disinfectants may lead to skin problems as they may irritate the skin.
